Teams answer environmental quizzes, hunt the saplings and plant trees for the community.
Tree Mend Us gives your people the opportunity to do their part for the community today and for the planet that their children's children will inherit.
It's more than just a community project. It's an Urban Quest that puts participants' teamworking skills to test. Think of it as an eco-treasure hunt with tangible results! You'll see why Tree Mend Us can complement financial carbon offset schemes or offer an engaging and significant alternative.
Armed with a golden spade, a tray of saplings and a tablet with the Go Team app, teams are challenged to track down prearranged locations. Participants celebrate success by planting a tree (or plants) and taking photos as evidence.
This is not guerrilla planting - we work in advance to ensure trees are planted in environments where they are welcomed: schools, parks, hospitals, retirement homes and other community spaces.
Teams begin by assuming this is a competition, but soon realise that the combined effect of what they plant has a much more significant impact when combined with others.
Between each planting, the teams need to use the random of kindness generator to give them a bonus challenge that they need to carry to the benefit of someone or something in the local community.
A thank-you ceremony and press coverage can be arranged to further motivate your people with a genuine feeling of making a difference.
Teams must work together to complete fun challenges and quiz questions to navigate their way to prearranged locations. And what is more, research attests that when people work together for social or environmental good, they bond together. Planting trees, especially in a common area familiar to participants builds a lasting memory and a lasting change to their environment that they can feel proud that they have had a positive impact on. Tree-Mend-Us also has fantastic health and wellbeing benefits as everyone gets outside and active. Moreover, it brings awareness and mindfulness to environmental issues, enabling participants to realise that a big project is the sum of small actions.

We were looking for an activity that would impact our team and the local community in which we are located. Tree Mend Us not only allowed us to positively impact our local community it also had tremendous effect on our people. It demanded clear communication, cooperation and allowed people to appreciate each other more and formed some lasting memories and bonds.
